Game Summary: Soulgemmed was a panfandom game based off the Madoka Magica series. In it, the player characters make a wish at the behest of the character Kyuube, and having made that wish are then brought to the city of Nyio-cho to purge it of creatures known as Nightmares. Unfortunately, this game being what it is, things go bad for the 'magi' or magical warriors that the player characters have become.
How long was your character in Game: Three months
History of Character in their Game:
While Bro did not have a long presence in the game, he certainly had a colorful one.
Bro ended up coming in at the end of March, which had been a terrible month for the Magi, who had just ended up having to face two witches, both of who were the Witch forms of outsider magi that the Nyoi-cho magi were trying to watch over. Bro himself came in with most of his powers gone, but gained new ones such as the ability to be invisible to everyone who wasn't his brother Dave so long as he didn't move, as well as a life-sized smuppet version of himself that he had control of. Clearly, this meant that the best thing to do was to troll the ever living shit of everyone he came across with the smuppet.
This primarily ended up just annoying people, but it caught the eye of at least two specific people. The first was a young adult from a post-apocalyptic world named Butch, who ended up giving Bro attitude and ended up challenging Bro to a fight due to Bro's own shitty attitude. While Bro ended up fighting Butch and antagonizing Butch to the point that Butch thought he was a dickhead, Bro actually secretly had a kind of respect for Butch for actually challenging him. Bro is a guy who doesn't respect people that back down; that Butch kept stepping up to him earned him some points in Bro's eyes. The second person was a guy named Osomatsu. Osomatsu seemed kind of nerdy and weird, but due to his seemingly easy going nature and ability to see Bro's sense of humor, Bro kind of clicked with the guy right off the bat. As time went on during Bro's short stay, Osomatsu was maybe the one person Bro could conceivably see as a friend.
There were two other important people Bro met off the bat. The first was his brother Dave, now a seventeen year old. Despite the weird, empty feeling Bro felt at having apparently missed so many years of his little brother's adolescence, quickly went back to treating Dave the way he had before, specifically constantly tormenting and harassing Dave in the name of trying to train him. Bro remained as short and pointed in most of his conversations with Dave as before, wanting to give Dave some chance of challenging him, hoping that Dave would actually disagree with him and show some backbone. Bro, also quickly distrusting the people of Nyoi-cho as incompetent and incapable of actually handling themselves during combat, was keeping an eye on Dave to hope he could help keep him out of trouble.
The second person was Bro's alternate self, just going by the name Dirk Strider and sixteen years old. Bro's relationship with Dirk was conflicted. Bro disliked Dirk for the most part, but Dirk was also one of the few people that Bro could hope to get any kind of information out of. It was almost solely thanks to Dirk that Bro got information about what had happened beforehand in the town, and it was with Dirk that Bro agreed to keep an eye on people that Dirk had labeled 'problematic' and worth spying on, although Bro only agreed to this in order to have dirt on Dirk. From the beginning, Bro didn't care for Dirk, partially because Dirk reminded Bro of a younger, more idealistic version of himself that hadn't entirely given up on most people as a whole.
